Hello! I just got back from an interview with Mr. Street. He is the construction manager for the construction at Deep Run Elementary School. I got some really awesome information about the renovation. But that’s in the second paragraph. The first paragraph is about the second floor. Please read everything, I’m desperate.
To start, I will talk about how I felt about the second floor. It is really awesome to have a floor all to myself. When I say myself I mean the whole 5th grade, the CEU teacher Mrs. Rowe, math teacher Ms. Riley and the GT teacher Mrs. Schmidt. (Ms. Riley and Mrs. Schmidt share the same room.) I know, it’s a lot of people. There are steps and elevators to get to the second floor. With the new level came some new desks only for the 5th grade, Mrs. Rowe and Ms. Riley and Mrs. Schmidt. The desks are pretty cool, but they wobble a little bit so they have to be replaced. The date of when the desks are going to be replaced is Spring Break. Since my teacher told her class, “It’s easier to do it when you guys aren’t here.”
Now I am going to talk about how I felt about the interview with Mr. Streett. It was pretty cool. I got to see what Mr. Streett plans to do later in the construction. All of his plans are drawings, and they have never left his truck since he got to Deep Run. He is really protective of those blueprints. Mr. Streett doesn’t want them to get ruined. I feel him. I would do the same thing to since I’m the guy who loses things pretty easily. Anyway, did you know the cafeteria is bigger than the gym? Well it is. Mr. Streett is going to change the floors and the walls in the gym, and change the kitchin in the cafeteria.
So that’s basically it. It wasn’t that bad...right? Well anyway see ya!
